Reward Work, Not Just Wealth
As a small business owner and mother, Jane understands the obstacles that middle class families face on a daily basis. She knows that we must have tax system in America that rewards work rather than wealth. As a result, she will fight to provide for tax breaks for middle class families in Ohio, and for small and medium-sized businesses that have a vital role in fueling our economy with new jobs.
Jane's grandfather, a union organizer, was killed on the job in Mineral County, West Virginia. Her father was one of the "tool town" engineers in Dayton and, like all Americans, worked hard to provide a better life for his family. She has deep roots in the labor community and will always fight for the needs of hard working families in Washington. Jane will also fight to strengthen the organized labor movement, which has done so much to create and defend the middle class in America.
