Shield Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Strengthen Our Military

Born and raised in Dayton, Jane understands the importance of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to our community and our nation. In Congress, she will fight for increased funding for the base to ensure that the top employer in the District remains strong and intact.

This year represents the first time the Wright Patterson area has been without a majority party voice in the House of Representatives since the Base Realignment and Closing process began. Jane will be a strong majority voice in Congress for our base.

Jane believes that we must strengthen and modernize our military in order to face the changing threats posed to our nation's security. The conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan have put a strain on our military and we must ensure that our forces are ready for emerging conflicts in different parts of the world. Jane will work to increase the readiness and capabilities of our military.
