Rebuild Our Economy

Family security begins with a good job and a strong economy. As a successful small business owner and entrepreneur, Jane knows our government must stop rewarding businesses for sending our jobs overseas, invest in small and medium-sized businesses, stimulate research and development, and put Ohio back to work.

As a businessperson, Jane will work to bring new jobs and fight to keep those jobs in the area. She will never vote for bad trade deals like CAFTA that provide incentives for businesses to ship their jobs overseas while leaving hard working families to fend for themselves. Our families and the local businesses that are so vital to our economy are strengthened when we keep good jobs in the community.

Jane also understands that we must fight against predatory lenders who have created the housing foreclosure crisis that is wreaking havoc on our communities and families. At the same time, we must ensure that consumers are sufficiently informed of the potential pitfalls of loans and mortgages that they may not be able to afford in the long-run.
